Outside foundation walls
Exterior rigid foam insulation over the outer basement wall is usually applied during construction. It also can be added as part of an exterior drainage project. If you’re planning to have a particular drainage project involving your foundation outside, take the extra step and have rigid foam insulation installed around your foundation.
Inside foundation walls
ABT offers a closed cell spray foam to seal and protect basements from the weather. Our technicians can spray insulation around the rim (aka band or perimeter) joist that rests on top of your foundation. It provides another layer of protection from the weather.
